Reviewing The Causes Of Hair Loss

Hair grows from hair follicles which are among the smallest organs in our bodies. Each follicle grows a single hair in a cycle consisting of three phases. The anagen phase is the longest period of growth, lasting 2-8-years, followed by the two to three week catagen phase, which ends with a two to four month telogen phase, where the hair is at the resting stage before it is shed.

Normally, 80 to 90 percent of our hair is in the anagen growing phase. Hair growth and hair follicle activity is controlled by the body's biological clock. Although the hairs we lose daily typically regrows, genetic, medical, environmental and biological factors, such as a poor diet, high stress or hormonal conditions, can end the cycle. The follicle simply shuts down and dies off.

That is why it is so important that you start to do something about hair loss early and protect remaining follicles with melatex.
